PhilShopping.com Inc. (hereinafter also referred to as “PhilShopping.com”) is committed to ensuring that all your orders purchased from PhilShopping.com will be processed thoroughly, securely transported and delivered to you based on your preferred PhilShopping.com mode of delivery. This policy explains how PhilShopping.com addresses customer concerns regarding order changes, cancellations, returns and refunds. 

By placing an order and/or purchasing products or services offered by the PhilShopping.com Website, you acknowledge, agree or accept this Policy as well as PhilShopping.com’s Terms and Conditions and Shipping and Delivery Policy.

This policy may change from time to time, without notice other than appearing on the Website. If PhilShopping.com decides to change all or any part of this policy, PhilShopping.com will post the changes on this page so that you are always aware of cancellations, changes, returns and refund policy.

Cancellations and Changes

During your PhilShopping.com order selection session, you may cancel, change, edit or remove your order. Simply view your shopping basket by clicking on the ’My Shopping Cart’ icon/link at the top-right portion of the webpage. Upon clicking on the said link/icon, you will notice a dialogue box that will pop-up from the bottom-right portion of the screen, this is your real-time shopping cart. Here you can view, add-decrease quantity, or remove an item while you’re shopping. Alternately, when you’re done shopping or choosing your order, proceed to Checkout by clicking on the link/icon located at the the top-right portion of the webpage or within your shopping cart pop-up box. The checkout section will allow you to review, edit, change, cancel and finalize your items before you proceed to payment and delivery. Bear in mind that, orders are considered final upon confirmation of payment. In this regard, PhilShopping.com strongly recommend that you review and finalize your orders before paying for them.

PhilShopping.com is charged with service fees (non-refundable) by third party payment mechanisms (ex. Credit Cards, ATM Cards, G-CASH, Smart Money, etc.) for every customer payment coursed through them. Therefore, orders are considered final upon confirmation of payment. Payment confirmation includes the following:

  • bank authorization and confirmation of your credit card or ATM card payment;
  • bank confirmation of your bank deposit/payment into our bank accounts;
  • Globe confirmation of your GCASH transfer/payment into our GCASH account;
  • Smart confirmation of your Smart Money transfer/payment into our Smart Money Account.
Upon confirmation of payment, PhilShopping.com will immediately process the order for immediate dispatch. Please read our Shipping and Delivery Policy also.

Returns

PhilShopping.com strives to fulfill every order that is placed through its Website that is why upon confirmation of customer payment, PhilShopping.com immediately processes the customer’s order for immediate dispatch. PhilShopping.com only accepts returns made for insured items due to the following:

  • Item is confirmed damaged or defective by you in the presence of the courier upon delivery (PhilShopping.com strongly recommends that you inspect the items thoroughly upon delivery and with the presence of the courier);
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Out-of-House (subject to return shipping cost; see Shipping and Delivery Policy);
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Refused to Accept (subject to return shipping cost; see Shipping and Delivery Policy);
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Incorrect or unlocated address (subject to return shipping cost; see Shipping and Delivery Policy);
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: House is ’closed’ or unoccupied at the time of delivery (subject to return shipping cost; see Shipping and Delivery Policy);
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Recipient moved out or Resigned (subject to return shipping cost; see Shipping and Delivery Policy);
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Unknown addressee (subject to return shipping cost; see Shipping and Delivery Policy).

However, your item will only be eligible for returns and refund if, during the checkout process of your order, you have included insurance cover against purchased orders lost, damaged or stolen while in transit with the courier. PhilShopping.com strongly recommends that, during the checkout process, customers should include insurance cover against purchased orders lost, damaged or stolen while in transit with the courier. 

Furthermore, only Items that are confirmed damage or defective by the recipient in the presence of the courier upon delivery are eligible for refund. Items returned to PhilShopping.com because of the following reasons are still considered sold, non-refundable and will only await further delivery instructions and shipping service fee fulfillment by the buyer: 

  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Out-of-House
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Refused to Accept
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Unlocated address
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: House ’closed’ or unoccupied at the time of delivery
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Recipient moved out or Resigned
  • Item was not received by the intended recipient: Unknown addressee
Finally, items returned will only undergo the refund process upon receipt of the returned item by PhilShopping.com. 

Refund

Items purchased with insurance cover against loss, damage or theft while in transit with the courier are eligible for refund. Furthermore, items returned will only undergo the refund process upon receipt of the returned item by PhilShopping.com.

PhilShopping.com is charged with service fees (non-refundable) by third party payment mechanisms such as Credit Cards, ATM Cards, G-CASH, Smart Money, etc. for every customer payment PhilShopping.com receives that are coursed through them. Therefore, PhilShopping.com does not issue cash reimbursements or compensation for items returned. 

However, PhilShopping.com only issues ’PhilShopping.com account credits’ as refund for insured items. Customers who are eligible for refund will receive the full amount of the value of the item (including deductions made to PhilShopping.com by third party payment mechanisms) but excluding shipping and insurance costs, as ‘PhilShopping.com account credits’ to their respective PhilShopping.com account. Such credits can be used or redeemed only through PhilShopping.com purchases made by the account owner/holder.

PhilShopping.com account credits can be viewed and managed by clicking on the ’My Account’ icon on the upper right portion of the page, or by clicking at the links under the ’Shopping Credit Organizer’ on the left column portion of the PhilShopping.com homepage.
